VEPR meltdown: Watch this AK stand up to over 800 rounds

Sure, they had cook-offs. Yes, the wooden furniture was fully engulfed in flame. Of course it’s a little dangerous. But, the AK kept ticking.

Eric and the IV8888 crew have tested Glocks and lesser AKs (a WASR-10 went through stacks of 75 round durms and 30 round PMAGs) in similar meltdowns, but the VEPR build by Definitive Arms went the distance and delivered nearly 900 rounds in about five or six minutes before it locked up. Still, on break down and after a few love taps, it was good to go again once it cooled off.

“The AK is the poster child for go-to-hell reliability,” says Eric.
