Trio leads authorities on 20-hour, high-speed boat chase in stolen 'go-fast' boat (VIDEO)

Three men are facing a slew of charges after they stole a $350,000 “go-fast” boat Thursday night in Fort Myers, Florida, and led authorities on a 20-hour, high-speed chase that covered over 300 nautical miles.

Local authorities attempted to stop the suspects while they were stealing the boat, but were unsuccessful, even though the suspects’ attempt to ram the sheriff’s office marine unit boat was also unsuccessful.

“It was like something out of a James Bond or Mission Impossible movie,” said Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott.

Eventually, the three suspects – David Llanes Vasquez, Farfan Ramirez-Vidal and Sauri Raul De La Vega – simply gave up about 65 miles from Cuba.
