Take a quiet look inside the ATF's gun vault

The ATF Vault

Here's a quick peek inside the National Firearm Reference Vault courtesy ATF the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

The National Firearm Reference Vault at the headquarters of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is what Scrooge McDuck would have if he was into guns.

The above video, uploaded by the Department of Defense, is soundless B-roll footage meant for later use as needed in reports, but you really don’t need the sound anyway. Maybe play Disturbed’s Sound of Silence cover in the background as you watch it and cry one perfect tear in the knowledge that these beautiful firearms will likely never see the light of day again.

Lewis guns, Vickers heavies with bronze water sleeves, several different Mini-Guns, racks of AKs, M1s, M2s, M3s, Tommy guns…

Sniff.
