Ever wonder about the best training tips, bucket list ideas, or favorite foods of one of the most famous shooters in the world? Guns.com caught up with professional shooter and Taurus Team Captain Jessie Duff on Jan. 20 at SHOT Show 2016.
Duff, one of the most accomplished competition shooters in the world, will have a full schedule of shooting championships in 2016. Her favorite area of the country for competitions? Warm climates, of course, and anywhere there is a beach. We can’t blame her there, as we slog through winter storms.

When asked to provide her best training tip for the casual shooter, Duff was quick to answer. “When you head to the range, even if you have a lot of things in mind to work on, sometimes that can be overwhelming…break them down into different days (so you don’t have to) focus on everything at once.”
Duff answered a series of rapid-fire questions at the end of her visit with Guns.com. Check out the video for her answers to the following: Pistol or revolver? iron sights or optics? Synthetic or wood? Cats or dogs? Concealed carry or open carry? Pink or camo? City of country? You might just be surprised.
By the end of the interview, Duff had gathered quite a crowd of male onlookers all eager to get a photo or autograph with one of the most familiar faces in the industry. Besides her outstanding shooting ability, Duff is a genuinely nice person who always has time for friends, fans, and professionals alike. It is shooters and celebrities like her who help define the welcoming, inclusive character of our shooting industry.
