Marvel fans build massive Helicarrier out of LEGOs
Using nothing but The Avengers movie as a guide, five guys out of Taiwan built a replica of the SHIELD Helicarrier completely out of LEGOS.
The model measures four-and-a-half feet long and took about six weeks – and 15,000 LEGO pieces – to build, easily overshadowing LEGO’s largest boxed collection which has a mere 2,996 pieces.
“Before I started to build it, the most annoying thing was collecting parts and classifying them,” Zio Chao told The Brothers Brick, explaining how they had to form the “skeleton” first to support everything else.
Once completed, the piece was broken down into 14 separate parts and transported to Taipei, where it remains on display.
