If you are interested in arguments taking the California AG Kamala Harris to task on potential violations of First and Second Amendment rights, tune in.

The two cases Tracy Rifle and Pistol v. Harris and Silvester v. Harris were heard by a three judge panel of the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Fransisco on Tuesday.

Tracy involves a lawsuit brought for alleged First Amendment rights violations after the California Bureau of Firearms issued a citation over a gun shop’s window advertising which featured an image of a firearm.

UCLA Law Professor Eugene Volokh, who heads the popular Volokh Conspiracy legal column in the Washington Post, delivered oral arguments on behalf of the Calguns Foundation in Tracy.

Silvester challenges the state’s longstanding 10-day waiting period for gun purchases and was won at the District Court level in 2014 but is now facing appeal.

Silvester was argued immediately after by Sacramento area attorney Bradley Benbrook for Calguns.
