Remington Arms introduced new pistol variations called the 1911 R1 Enhanced Commander, the company announced this week.
Refining the iconic 1911 design, the R1 Enhanced Commander features a fiber optic front sight, adjustable rear sight, and a match grade barrel.
“Another in a line of high quality 1911s designed to meet the needs of the features minded 1911 fan,” the company said in a press release.
Specs are listed as 4.25-inch long barrel putting the overall length at 7.5 inches, a 5.5-inch height, and 40-ounce weight. The .45-caliber pistol holds eight rounds.
The Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced pistol is available with either a stainless steel or black oxide finish. Retails price $990.
