Suspect caught on camera swiping gun from man’s pocket (VIDEO)

Authorities are searching for the suspect who stole a gun from a man’s pocket at a Phoenix McDonald’s earlier this month.

The robbery occurred on April 7, but surveillance video showing the crime was only recently released. In the video, several people are seen standing in line at the restaurant when the perp, who is on a cell phone at the time, walks up and simply grabs a handgun from the victim’s back pocket.

The suspect walked right out of the business, with the victim chasing after him. However, when the suspect pointed the gun at the victim, he decided it best to let it go.

The suspect is described as a young, black male, approximately 18 to 25 years old. He stands about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches and weighs approximately 160 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Silent Witness tip line at 480-948-6377 or 1-800-343-TIPS. Tipsters can remain completely anonymous and up to a $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
