13-year-old robbed of hover board at gunpoint

Kwaleam PinklyA young man is facing charges after he robbed a 13-year-old kid at gunpoint in Portland Tuesday evening, making off with the youngster’s hover board.

Police received a call about the robbery around 5:35 p.m. and soon thereafter noticed a vehicle which matched the description given by witnesses. The vehicle was occupied by the suspect and four other individuals.

A stop was conducted and a search turned up the handgun used in the crime, as well as the stolen hover board.

The suspect, 20-year-old Kwaleam Pinkly, was arrested, booked into the Multhomah County Jail and charged with first and second-degree robbery.
