Louisiana senate candidate stands up to Hillary Clinton's stance on guns (VIDEO)

Locking down the gun vote, U.S. senate candidate from Louisiana Rob Maness released his message to mainstream gun rights advocates’ current public enemy number one, Hillary Clinton, on Monday.

“Every individual does have a Constitutional right to bear arms. Not only do we have a Constitutionally right to bear arms, we have a natural right to bear arms from our creator. And no politician — not even you, Mrs. Clinton — can ever take that right away from us,” he said.

“While limousine liberals like you ride around with your armed bodyguards for protection, us average citizens don’t have that luxury. And we need the Second Amendment ourselves and our families. And we will keep doing that no matter what any out of touch, anti-gun zealots have to say about it. I’ll be damned if I’m ever allow some politician or government bureaucrat get in the way of me and being able to protect my family,” he said before racking the lever of a rifle. “Shall not be infringed means exactly what it says.”

A review of his website and social media pages leads one to conclude that gun rights is his leading cause. Maness is running as a Republican. According to his website, he retired from active duty in the Air Force in 2011 after 32 years of service and the rank of colonel.

The video was recently shared by gun control advocacy group Moms Demand Action, which called it “riddled with tired gun lobby talking points.”

“These extremists, in partnership with the NRA, have been writing America’s gun laws for decades — even though a majority of Americans support stronger gun laws to prevent gun violence,” the group said on Facebook.

Clinton has made gun control a focal point in her campaign and even gained the endorsement of MDA’s sistered group, Everytown for Gun Safety.
