Mud bathing the M1911 for function sake (VIDEO)

Ian on InRange TV continued their series on mud testing iconic WWI and WWII small arms by tapping in a M1911 longslide for a run in the goop.

Sure, it’s not a true milspec GI but rather a 1911-ish Argentine navy Ballester–Molina designed and built by Hispano Argentina Fábrica de Automotores SA (HAFDASA), which Ian explains the decision behind at length, but you get the idea.

And overall, it doesn’t do that bad considering the bath.
