Suspects at large after TX gun store smash and grab (VIDEO)

A smash and grab at a Waxahachie, Texas, gun shop early Sunday morning resulted in 17 firearms on the streets and authorities searching for the seven suspects responsible.

The break-in occurred just before 3 a.m. when a truck was used to ram into a side wall of the Shooter’s Edge. According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, 12 handguns, three AR-style rifles, one AK-style rifle and a shotgun were stolen. No cash or other valuables were reported missing.

Police later recovered the truck used, which was stolen out of Mesquite, but a second truck – a white four-door Ford pickup – has not been found.

The incident is being investigated by the Mesquite Police Department, the U.S. Marshals and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Meanwhile, the Shooter’s Edge is closed until further notice.
