Orlando nightclub survivor walks again for the first time (VIDEO)

A 26-year-old man who survived the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando has been on a long road to recovery, but recently took his first steps on his own since the shooting occurred.

Angel Colon, survived the massacre despite being shot five times and believing at the time that he was going to die. Colon was shot multiple times in one leg and his other leg was broken as he tried to make his escape out of the nightclub.

Colon took his first unassisted steps last week and posted a video to Facebook showing the amazing moment, along with the caption, “Ahhhh Took my first Steps all by Myself!!!!!! SO HAPPY!!! #OrlandoStrong #AngelStrong #LoveIsLove.” The video has since seen over 300,000 views and nearly 4,000 shares.
