Chain reaction test on rifle rounds with pointed bullets (VIDEO)

Ammo aficionados Taofledermaus lined up 10 5.56mm cartridges tip to tail, rigged a tube to hold them all, and set up a BB gun to set off the first round to see what would happen.

For generations, the concept of pointed bullets lined in a tubular magazine– such as in a lever action cowboy gun– has been seen as dangerous hence the reason why you usually just see .30-30 WCF cartridges and the like with round nose bullets.

Despite naysayers who felt the test wouldn’t result in a chain reaction, the ultimate results were dramatic.
