Gun shop smash and grab caught on camera (VIDEO)

A smash and grab style burglary at a Libertyville, Illinois, gun shop early Tuesday morning was caught on camera, but the co-owner of the business said the suspect was likely disappointed, as all of the guns were locked up and he only got away with ammo.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. at Just Target Guns. The suspect apparently broke in, realized all of the guns were locked up, and left. But then returned a short time later and settled for cases of ammo instead.

The suspect is still at large and described as a white or Hispanic male, 18 to 25 years old. His face was covered with a bandanna and he was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, black shorts and black high-tops.

Lane Lebrun, the store’s co-owner, said they plan to upgrade their security, which will likely include parking bumpers in the front of the shop to deter future smash and grab attempts.
