Sale of Jordan shoes ends in gunfire (VIDEO)

WARNING: Some may find the following video disturbing.

What was supposed to be the sale of a pair of Jordan shoes Sunday evening in Washington, D.C., instead ended in gunfire, and the entire chilling encounter was captured on surveillance video.

In a parking lot in the 2200 block of T Place near Good Hope Road SE, three people met up with a fourth person who was selling a pair of blue Jordans for $152, according to police. But moments after the seller opened the shoe box, the suspect pulled out a gun and opened fire.

Police say they aren’t sure if the seller was struck and no injuries have been reported.

Authorities are searching for those involved and anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099.
