‘Tear gun’ replaces bullets with human tears (VIDEO)

While studying in the Netherlands, Yi-Fei Chen, who is originally from Taiwan, designed a rather unusual way to channel her tears into a gun to be used as projectiles.

The tear gun was created at an emotional time when Chen was struggling with adjusting to being a foreigner and frustrated over her assignments.

The unique invention channels tears in three steps. First, tears are collected through a silicon mask that the user wears. Second, the tears flow into a cartridge where they are frozen, and in the third and final step, the frozen tears are loaded into the gun and fired.
