The evolution from slabside to bakelite in the AK mag world (VIDEO)

Reaching way back into the closet, Ian from Forgotten Weapons strolls down the evolutionary road and shows off a wide variety of Soviet/Russian Kalash mags.

Starting with the Izhevsk-produced 1948 slabside steel mags and moving forward, Ian brings in the ribbed mags aluminum waffle mags, orange bodied bakelites and the rest, with brief layovers at the RPK arena, dropping knowledge the whole way.

Worth your time if you are an AK collector or user.
