Madonna offers clarity on her ‘blowing up the White House’ comment (VIDEO)
The internet was abuzz over the weekend after Madonna made a comment during a rally at the Women’s March in Washington, D.C., Saturday saying that she’s “thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House,” a comment which was met with applause.
Naturally, the 58-year-old pop star took to Instagram Sunday to clarify that, although she was acting out of anger at that moment, she is not a violent person and was speaking metaphorically.
Her entire speech, which lasted nearly six minutes and was followed by the 1989 hit song “Express Yourself,” can be watched below.
