Mark Redl breaks down the BFM drill from 7 yards (VIDEO)

Team Colt’s competition shooter passes on a combined three-part practical shooting drill that blends some old classics together.

Given to him by Ken Hackathorn, Redl breaks down the BFM as follows:

(B)-Build drill, six rounds to center mass
(F)-Fast drill, two rounds to the head, perform a magazine exchange, then fire four to the body
(M)-The ole Mozambique of one to the head and two to the body.

15 rounds all told.

He is using a target meant just for this drill in this month’s Recoil magazine, but if you don’t have that you can always rig up your own.

Redl can pull it off in 6.59 secs. Talk about rookie numbers. Gotta boost that up!
