Hardened Arms made waves last month with the introduction of the LumaShark upper and now the company is back at it launching the new Citadel Linear Muzzle Compensator.

The Citadel LMC is a muzzle device that moves muzzle blast and sound down range. Not to be confused with a suppressor which muffles sound, the Citadel LMC concentrates burning gasses and sound in a blast chamber and shroud. The device then directs them down range.

The advantage to the Citadel’s design is that shooting becomes more comfortable for the shooter and others on the firing line due to the forced direction of sound and flame.

Without the side opening of a flash hider or standard muzzle break, shooters can expect a larger flame signature. The company says this certainly ups the “fun factor” while shooting.

The muzzle device is available in two models, 1/2×28 or 5/8×24 thread.

The Citadel LMC is available now from Hardened Arms with a price point of $109.99.
