Ultralight backpack maker Stone Glacier recently launched the Avail 2200, a versatile pack aimed at meeting the needs of hunters, climbers and skiers.

The pack answers the call for an ultralight solution that can be used alongside Stone Glacier’s KruX or XCurve Frame for more carrying capacity. Able to comfortably haul meat and gear out of the backcountry, the stand-alone daypack weighs just over three pounds.

A full feature design, the bag features five organizational pockets and an external compression panel for quick access to extra layers.

The Avail is also outfitted with an A-Frame that efficiently stows a rifle during treks.

“The Avail 2200 combines the quality and craftsmanship you’ve come to know from Stone Glacier with the versatility of a full feature daypack ready for any outing,” Stone Glacier General Manger Peter Muennich offered in a statement. “From hiking to hunting, from the mountain to the conference room, the Avail 2200 is the perfect lifestyle pack for all of life’s adventures.”

The Avail 2200 can be purchased through Stone Glacier with a price point of $289.
