The new LaserForce rangefinder binocular has officially been introduced by Nikon Sports Optics, who announced the launch of the 1,900-yard laser rangefinder Wednesday.

The Laserforce boasts a laser capable of distances from 10-1900 yards with instantaneous readouts on a OLED display. Distances are offered in in 0.1 increments to 100 yards and 1-yard increments over 1,000 yards.

Equipped with a four-step brightness adjustment, the OLED display makes incoming information readable under any light condition and against various objects.

The Laserforce touts Nikon’s Incline//Decline technology which compensates for the effects that slope has on trajectory. Hunters and shooters are thus able to make necessary compensations for shots uphill, downhill or on level ground.

The 10×42 binocular component features extra-low dispersion glass offering correction of chromatic aberration which causes color fringing. The full multilayer-coated lenses and prisms as well as a reflective mirror coating offer pristine, crisp images.

Featuring a long eye relief design paired with turn-and-slide rubber eyecups, the Laserforce aims to adjust to users’ individual viewing needs with or without glasses. Built to withstand rugged environments, the rangefinder is outfitted with a rubber armor that conforms to the metal die-cast frame. This waterproof and fogproof construction provides a highly durable exterior with a grip that comfortable rests in the hand.

The Laserforce by Nikon is not yet shipping to consumers, but when it does hit the streets shooters can expect to see the rangefinder binocular priced just under $1,200.
