EuroOptic will be the first American distributor for the Ritter & Stark’s SC-1 Modular Tactical Rifle in the U.S. market.

Unveiled last year, the SX-1 is Ritter & Stark’s first foray into firearm manufacturing. The new gun maker is stationed in Feistritz Im Rosental, Austria and already boasts several European distributors. EuroOptic joins that lineup but has the bragging rights of being the first to offer the tactical rifle to American consumers.

“Partnering with EuroOptic.com was a natural for Ritter & Stark,” Yakov Trakhman, Marketing Director for Ritter & Stark said in a press release. “EuroOptic’s primary focus is to carry high-performance products for the discerning customer and the SX-1 MTR undoubtedly fits that criteria.”

The SX-1 MTR is a long-range precision rifle currently available in .308 Win, .300 Win Magnum and .338 Lapua Magnam with 20-inch, 24-inch and 27-inch barrel lengths. Fully customizable, the rifle touts adjustable cheek rests, recoil pads and left or right buttstock capabilities. Additionally, aftermarket magazines, triggers and pistol grips may be added to fit specific user needs.

The company says the SX-1 MTR uses a bolt locked directly into the barrel breech for better shots on target with accuracy translating to .05 MOA with three round groups using factory match grade ammo.

In addition to the SX-1 MTR, EuroOptic will also offer conversion kits for quick caliber change between the three calibers. Conversion kits contain a Ritter & Stark barrel with Picatinny rail and a bolt face. Some caliber swap options will also be accompanied with a magazine adapter and 10 round magazine.

EuroOptic will carry a full listing of accessories for the tactical rifle to include magazine adapters, bolt beads, Picatinny rails, muzzle break, forend handguard with M-LOK, tactical sling and a hard transport case with customized insert for the rifle and accessories.

The SX-1 MTR is ready to go from EuroOptic, retailing for a hefty $6,555.
