foiled robbery

A man who attempted to rob two people at a Dallas apartment complex Monday night was shot and killed after one of the victims wrestled the robber’s gun away from him.

The incident unfolded around 10:45 p.m. Police say during the robbery attempt, one of the victims was shot by the suspect. However, the second victim then engaged in a struggle with the suspect and was able to take his gun from him. At that point, the victim shot the suspect, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim who suffered the gunshot wound was transported to a Dallas-area hospital and was said to be in stable condition earlier this week. The victim who shot the suspect also suffered minor injuries from being hit with the suspect’s gun.
