Checking out Beretta's new striker fired duty gun: The APX (VIDEO)

Hickok45 spent a few weeks with the Beretta APX as a house guest and gives his overall impression of the new Italian 9mm.

Introduced overseas a little while back, the APX is fresh to the market in the states this year and has a lot of neat bells and whistles like some ambi controls and very aggressive slide serrations. It’s a duty-sized gun, weighing in at 35~ ounces loaded.

As for the Toblerone-ish style full-length slide serrations, “they have grown on me,” says Hickok, admitting that, while in the past he hasn’t been that big a fan of some of Beretta’s products, finds the APX a step up.
