Proving that just about anything can be made “tacticool,” 5.11 Tactical announced its new TactiGrill Apron ahead of Father’s Day.

The apron boasts MOLLE attachment points along the chest portion of the apron for all those tactical accessories. In addition, the apron features adjustable neck and waist G-hook straps to dial in that perfect fit. Spacious pockets in the front can be outfitted with spare mags and or additional BBQ tools.  An extra phone pocket rests on the chest for quick and unencumbered access.

The 5.11 TactiGrill Apron also sports patch compatibility for those that prefer to showcase their allegiance to their favorite gun or gear maker.

5.11 Tactical says the apron not only protects master grillers from harmful splashes and spills but also makes an excellent Father’s Day gift.

“Being skilled at the grill is a great source of pride for dads, and nothing screams awesome dad like being able to cook up a buffet of hot dogs and burgers at the kids’ birthday party. But you can’t master the art if you don’t look the part – and that’s where 5.11’s TactiGrill Apron is here to help dads far and wide,” the company forwarded in an email to Guns.com.

5.11 Tactical told Guns.com in an email that inventory is expected to be stocked by June 5. According to the website, the apron will be priced just under $70.
