Son of slain Las Vegas cop surrounded by hundreds of officers at high school graduation (VIDEO)

Hundreds of police officers showed up for the Arbor View High School graduation over the weekend as an expression of their continued support for Daxton Beck, whose father was killed in an ambush three years ago.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Sgt. Eric Hutcherson said even though it’s been three years, they wanted to show the family that they have not forgotten and still support them. Daxton thanked the officers for always being there.

Daxton’s father, Alyn Beck, along with fellow LVMP officer Igor Soldo, were both fatally shot as they ate lunch at a local pizza joint. The couple who fired the fatal shots then fled to a nearby Walmart and engaged in a gunfight with authorities. The couple was killed, but not before they first killed a civilian who attempted to stop them inside the Walmart.
