Fabarm USA expanded its series of shotguns, introducing the new L4S Sporting semi-automatic target shotgun to the lineup.

The L4S aims for impeccable point and balance by offering finely tuned weight distribution across the shotgun. To accomplish a perfectly weighted design, the magazine is shortened to a four round capacity in order to reduce the length of the fore-end.

Using 2 3/4 inch target loads, the L4S also incorporates a new fore-end design that does not rely on wood as part of the mechanical assembly of the gun. Manufacturing in this manner removes all wiggle and movement in the fore-end in addition to strengthening the relationship between barrel and receiver. The barrels feature the Fabarm’s Tribore tapered bore, Exis HP hyperbolic choke system and tapered top rib.

The 12-gauge shotgun ditches the action spring in the stock, instead opting for attachment using a simple stock bolt. Fabarm says this design permitted the company to “sculpt the pistol to eliminate the awkward feeling that affects many semi-auto shotguns.”

Boasting right handed and left handed models, Fabarm’s L4S Sporting starts at $1,850.
