Guns.com brought a high-speed camera to the Green Mountain Boys Machine Gun Shoot in Eden, Vermont last weekend to capture some of the action.

We filmed with a Phantom MIRO320S at 1600 frames per second. It allowed us to capture a unique perspective of some of the fascinating guns that were fired.

These firearms included an extremely rare Heckler & Koch VP70 that fires three-round bursts at 2200 rounds per minute. Another highlight was the U.S. 76mm T-124 anti-tank gun that rattled our bones when fired. Our teeth chattered when the M45C Quadmount 50 cal was fired. A double-barrelled semi-automatic Arsenal Firearms AF2011-A1 was a crowd pleaser. A GAU-2B/A minigun provided its signature ‘brrrrp’ sound throughout the shoot and a full-auto Vepr-12 shotgun had enough recoil to knock you off your feet.

A great time was had by all. The Green Mountain Boys Machine Gun Shoot is an annual event that attracts a few hundred people. It’s set in the green hills of Vermont at Camp David.
