More on the $199 Black Aces Tactical PoBoy 556 suppressor (VIDEO)

Promising a 33dB drop at the muzzle, Florida-based Black Aces released more information on their foray into the suppressor world — the direct-thread Po Boy.

Featuring a cerakote finish, the end-user serviceable can is 8-inches long, uses a reinforced straight stack baffle system and is constructed of a 4130 Chromoly tube with a 316 stainless interior. Overall weight is 25-ounces. The tool to take the cap off to service? An AR15 stock wrench.

Black Aces’ CEO Eric Lemoine talks about the Po Boy in the above video interspersed with a good bit of range time, speaking to the design philosophy behind the suppressor which he says is made completely in-house.
