A molten metal squirt gun because… why not? (VIDEO)

A man known in the YouTube realm as The Backyard Scientist shared a video Thursday with his nearly 3 million subscribers demonstrating an amazing and equitably terrifying DIY gun that shoots molten metal.

The Backyard Scientist apparently made a similar weapon but introduced a new and improved design after the old one rusted shut and he was unable to refill it. With an insane amount of enthusiasm, The Backyard Scientist also explained how it all worked.

After sorting through the technical stuff, The Backyard Scientist put on his protective gear, grabbed his gun, and started shooting at some targets, whilst filming from various directions. The results of which were something beautiful and equally impressive… as long as you’re not on the receiving end, that is.
