The Guns.com Promise
An Arizona couple had a rather bizarre experience Wednesday when a man who was completely naked entered their Tempe home uninvited before the homeowner chased him away with a gun.
Tyler Piltz, who was home with his wife and two young children at the time, was first made aware of the situation when he heard his wife scream.
“My wife said, ‘Ty, there’s a man in the house,'” Piltz told reporters.
According to the couple, the nude man said he was “invited” to the home and would pay them with diamonds. It’s unclear what the suspect intended to pay for, but Piltz wasn’t about to find out.
Piltz promptly placed the red dot from his handgun on the suspect, who decided – diamonds or not – he should go.
Authorities believe the suspect grabbed his clothes from a nearby alley on his way out.
No shots were fired, no one was injured, and Piltz is thankful the situation ended as it did.
“You know, if he wouldn’t have left, I know that I wouldn’t have hesitated to shoot him,” Piltz said.
