Henry Repeating Arms, once only synonymous with lever guns, has recently expanded into other areas of firearms manufacture, with the introduction of single shot rifles and shotguns, as well as .410 lever actions.  While the following behind their American made firearms has always been strong, how many of you know that the Henry company is also the face of a racing team?

Throughout the Henry’s tenure, owner and president Anthony Imperato has been one of the most accessible and publicly recognized faces of any gun company. For the last year, he can be found traveling not only in firearms circles, but also hanging out at the race track.  Now his son of the same name, Anthony Imperato Jr, lives with a passion and skill for racing.  Thus two very American pastimes collide, as Henry Repeating Arms sponsors the young Imperato’s race car.

Guns.com recently had the opportunity to spend a few days at Road America watching one Imperato make the climb onto the podium of the winner’s circle while the other cheered him trackside.  Best of all, the Henry name was there through it all.  While many will be quick to question the Made-in-America-or-not-made-at-all company’s decision to put their logo on a Porsche, who can fault a father for supporting his son in his current racing class, the IMSA Porsche GT3 series?
