Firearms maker Daniel Defense expanded its line of Cerakote rifle finishes, introducing its latest color option Deep Woods.

Deep Woods features a green earth tone boasting greater durability and abrasion resistance than previous Cerakote finishes. Created exclusively for Daniel Defense, the new Cerakote finish also offers improved hardness despite its thinner application.

“We are excited to be working with Cerakote to release Daniel Defense Deep Woods on several of our rifle models,” President/CEO of Daniel Defense Marty Daniel said in a press release. “We debuted the Deep Woods finish on our DDM4A1 rifle at the 2017 NRA show in Atlanta, Georgia, this past spring. The response was very positive not only to the Deep Woods color but also to the look and feel of the Cerakote finish.”

The DDM4V7, DDM4V11, DDM4A1, DD5V1 Keymod, and DD5V1 M-LOK all include the new Deep Woords color option with prices varying depending on rifle model.
