Turkish firearm company UTAS-USA announced a new addition its XTR semi-automatic shotgun series, launching the XTR-12 Competition model.

The Competition model features similar specs to its parent XTR-12, but adds a few additional upgrades to sweeten the package. Included in the enhancements are an internally threaded barrel with Benelli Crio chokes, a collapsible/adjustable comb stock, vertical fore-end with bi-pod and a skeletonized handguard.

Measuring 39.29-inches with the stock collapsed, the shotgun’s barrel measures 20-inches in length.  The 12 gauge shotgun, chambered for 2 3/4-inch to 3-inch magnum, provides a magazine capacity of five rounds. Constructed with an integrated quad Picatinny rail, the gun readily accepts sights or optics for improved shooting.

The XTR-12 Competition offers Cerakote options for shooters looking for a little custom color flare. Options include OD green, flat dark earth, burnt bronze and tungsten.

Details on the price of the new model have not been released but the standard XTR-12 is priced at $1,099.
