RIA is auctioning an Ohio Ordnance BAR with all proceeds to be given to the Red Cross to help Hurricane Harvey recovery in Texas and Louisiana.

The Model 1918A3 is a semi-auto only (and thus NFA-compliant) version of the classic Browning Automatic Rifle of WWI and WWII. Chambered in .30-06, the beefy rifle has a redesigned trigger group to keep the tax stamps away and Rock Island advises the parkerized finish only has “slight handling marks.”

Estimated value is $4,500-6,500.

The Red Cross reported they have served 250,000 meals in the disaster area since last week and have 2,000 workers on the ground with another 600 on the way to support more than 250 shelter operations in the affected region.
