Wilson Combat drops two new, upgraded 10-round magazines designed for full-sized 1911s chambered in .45 ACP.

The redesigned mags are made in the U.S. and include a high strength stainless steel spring, fiber-reinforced nylon ETM style follower as well as a new polymer wrap-around base pad assembly.

The wrap-around base pad assembly adds grip, aiming to enhance shooting and enable rapid reloads. The removable baseplate withstands hard use and is also dimpled for mag identification and numbering.

Ideal for competition, carry or tactical use the mags are available in polished stainless or non-reflective black fluoropolymer finish. Wilson Combat says the new mags increase reliability in all 1911 style pistols and feature a maximum tensile strength heavy duty stainless steel spring for long service life, enhanced feeding and positive slide stop operation. Additionally, the stainless steel tube resists corrosion.

The stainless model retails for $38.95 while the black model slides in a little higher, retailing for $41.95.
