GuardianGrip delivers spring loaded pistol grip for revolvers

GuardianGrip, created by Pachmayr, a division of Lyman Products, introduced a spring loaded revolver grip the company says is the first of its kind.

The grip’s patented design marries the idea of compact concealment with the shooting control of a full-size grip. Users squeeze a button on the gront of the grip and a spring loaded finger extension descends out of the GuardianGrip, thus, turning a two-finger compact grip into a more manageable three finger grip.

Constructed from high-strength polymers and impervious to moisture, weather and chemicals the grip includes an open backstrap for better concealability as well as textured panels.

While the GuardianGrip will initially be available for J-frame revolvers, the grip series will eventually expand to include more options for popular concealed carry pistols.

“The GuardianGrip is the answer for every person that carries concealed yet feels a compact grip does not give them the control they need, whether it is during target shooting or if an actual self-defense scenario arose,” said Trevor Mullen, VP of Global Marketing and Business Development for Lyman Products, in a press release.

The GuardianGrip is currently available on backorder from Lyman Products with a MSRP of $49.98.
