New York based Dark Storm Industries continues to serve the needs of gun owners living in restrictive states, introducing the latest in its Featureless DS-10 Typhoon series.

The newest model to hit the lineup is chambered in the very popular 6.5 Creedmoor. The rifle is a mid-length direct impingement gas system. Constructed from a DS-10 billet 7075 aluminum lower receiver and a DS-10 billet upper, the AR-15 features a forward assist and ejection port cover.

The lower is machined to work alongside the Thordsen FRS-15 rifle stock without requiring the use of an adapter or spacer. The Thordsen FRS stock was designed specifically for users in restrictive states, addressing gun laws that characterize pistol grips and adjustable stock as “assault rifles.” Though it operates within state laws, the stock aims to offer an ergonomic, comfortable feel when shouldered.

Topping off the features is the 15-inch Ultralight Narrow Profile M-LOK handguard Cerakoted in black, FDE or ODG to match the rifle’s Cerakote finishes. The handguard accepts a variety of lights, scopes and laser options as the DS-10 Typhoon does not come equipped with traditional sights.

In addition to the featureless 6.5 Creedmoor option, DSI also produces a fixed magazine version as well as a standard rifle version.

The black and ODG DSI D-10 Typhoon in 6.5 Creedmoor retails for $1,495 while the FDE finish is a little more costly, coming in at $1,545.
