The Ohio-based gun maker has been in the carbine business since 1995 and is advising their newest compact pistol caliber rifle– chambered in 10mm Auto– is preparing to ship.

First teased back in September, Hi-Point says its 1095TS carbine has an expected arrival for January 2018.

“We are just as excited as all of you for the 1095TS, and you can count on us to make a announcement once we start shipping,” noted Hi-Point on social media. “It could be sooner than January. You never know.”

The price point MSRP of $389 is about $75 higher than the company’s banner 9mm carbine offering and $40 more than the .45ACP variants.

Across the line, the carbine series uses 10-shot single-stack magazines and, while initially offered in black, Hi-Point has made a point of introducing OD and FDE guns as well as a number of hydro-dipped camo finishes in recent years which leaves a wildcard open for what the company is going to bring to SHOT Show in January.
