Nightforce Optics adds to its Advanced Tactical Riflescope lineup, introducing the newest scope to hit the series — a 1-8 power scope with 24mm objective lens.

The ATACR 1-8×24 F1 features a first focal plane reticle, ED glass and bright daylight illumination all in a compact, lightweight setup, according to the company.

“We originally designed the Nightforce ATACR first focal plane riflescopes for our military customers,” said Nightforce Director of Sales and Marketing, Gordon Myers, in a statement. “They remain the foundation for our Mil-Spec riflescopes to this day. ATACR optics are well-received by long range shooters, because we combine battle-proven ruggedness with high quality optics and functionality. Our new ATACR 1-8×24 F1 incorporates all the advantages of the ATACR family in one of the most compact and adaptable 1-8 power optics available in the marketplace today.”

Offering a length of 10-inches and weight tipping 21-ounces, the 1-8×24 F1 flaunts “mission-critical” features such as daylight-visible, center red dot and multi-coated glass for clear and crisp images. The 8x zoom aims to help shooters identify and engage targets while .1 MIL adjustments come capped to prevent the nuisance that is accidental adjustments.

The new scope ships with a MSRP of $2,800 and will debut in Las Vegas in January at the gun industry’s annual SHOT Show.
