To commemorate 40 years of custom handguns, Wilson Combat is releasing a 40th Anniversary limited edition box set to celebrate the occasion.

The box set is packed with the Supergrade 1911, EDC X9, Out the Front knife and custom challenge coins. With only 41 sets available, the kits will be offered exclusively through select Wilson Combat dealers.

Kicking off the anniversary set is the Supergrade 1911 chambered in .45 ACP. The centerpiece of the flashy collection, the Supergrade boasts Mammoth Ivory Grips by Dan Chinnock and Wilson Combat engravings along the slide. The silver bead front sight delivers a polished Baron blue finish with silver inlays. Flaunting a 5-inch barrel on an overall 8.7-inches in length, the Supergrade tips scales at 42-ounces unloaded.

The next entry in the anniversary kit is the EDC X9, serving up a 15 round capacity of 9mm. The EDC X9 boasts a polished stainless steel slide and gold bead front sight in addition to gold inlaid markings on the slide. “EDC X9,” “40 Years of Innovation” and the Wilson Combat logo are all prominently featured as the engravings.

The Out the Front knife, developed by Wilson Combat, touts polished flats to provide a two-tone look alongside the X-TAC grip pattern. “Forty Years of Cutting Edge” is emblazoned on the blade, commemorating the company’s commitment to “being on the cutting edge of technology.”

Rounding out the custom set is a two-piece challenge coin set and custom fit shadow box for all the goodies.

Wilson Combat told Guns.com that no set MSRP is in place, instead each dealer will choose their own price.
