Not to be deterred by the outpouring of M-LOK rails and accessories, Firefield delivers two new Keymod rails to AR-15 shooters loyal to the Keymod mounting system.

The Verge and Edge join Firefield’s series of modern sporting rifle accessories as the latest additions to the rail system lineup. Both sporting Keymod attachment points, the rail systems offer shooters a means to mount bipods, lights and other accessories to their favorite AR-15.

The Verge Keymod Slim Rail is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, offering a durable and high-strength design. Available in four lengths — 7-inches, 9-inches, 12-inches and 15-inches — the skeletonized rails tip scales at a meager 5-ounces and accept most Picatinny, NATO and weaver sized mounts. The Verge systems ship with a five slot Keymod rail piece and Hex key. Prices range between $77 and $95.

The Edge provides a 2-piece Keymod system designed for carbine length AR-15s. The 2-piece design permits users to mount the Edge to any drop-in style rail system with no tools required. Firefield says the Edge is perfect for hunters and tactical shooters, allowing them to customize their guns and accessories to serve their own needs. The 5.9-ounce Edge delivers Picatinny, NATO and Weaver compatibility paired with a hard anodized aluminum construction. The Edge comes with a 5 slot Keymod rail piece and Hex key and is priced at just under $50.
