New Angstadt UDP45 pistol, integrally suppressed UDP9 at SHOT

Charlotte-based Angstadt Arms highlighted their pistol-caliber carbines and AR pistols at SHOT Show 2018 in Las Vegas. Angstadt firearms have common features for their Ultimate Defense Pistols, or UDPs, built to use Glock magazines like an oversized trigger guard, last round lock back, and an “appropriately” sized ejection port instead of a forward assist and dust cover.

An eye-catching UDP9 was posted front and center at the Angstadt booth. The pistol was equipped with a Jack9 lower receiver with the magwell shaped into a skull. (Photo: Daniel Terrill/Guns.com)

But the highlight of their booth was the UPD45 — an AR pistol chambered in .45 ACP — that sells for $1,325. The UPD45 has streamlined right-handed controls, easy to use and manipulate, and a flat trigger. (Photo: Daniel Terrill/Guns.com)

Also on display, Angstadt had an integrally suppressed UDP9 short-barreled rifle equipped with an 11.9-inch barrel and adjustable ports. MSRP is $1,995. (Photo: Daniel Terrill/Guns.com)
