Valkyrie Combat partnered up with DoubleStar at SHOT Show 2018 to showcase some of their rifles, carbines and pistols featuring elaborate Hollywood-themed cerakote, stippling and grip work.
Greg Wohler, the owner of Valkyrie Combat, was on hand at the booth to show off the guns. One his favorites was a Storm Trooper themed carbine that was customized with a battle worn, bone white look to it. The carbine was assigned to the 501st Storm Trooper unit which in Star War’s lore, represents Vader’s Fist. On its buffer tube was written the phrase: “Long live the empire.”
Other guns on display included an Iron Man themed rifle and a 1911 pistol patterned after the Dead Pool film. But if Wohler had to choose one rifle that was his absolute favorite, it would be the Joker-themed rifle. Wohler put a lot of work into it and thinks it’s the only rifle out there with such elaborate Joker markings. “We were able to get away with putting some really awesome details on it,” he said.
Valkyrie completed a large number of projects 2017 customizing guns with a variety of looks and themes. Images of these firearms can be found on their website. If you’re looking to customize your firearm, feel free to contact them. They’re located in Henderson, Nevada.
