Nikon takes a dip into the reflex sight pool, launching its first foray into reflex sights with the P-Tactical Spur.

The P-Tactical Spur Reflex Sight features a 3 MOA red dot paired with a long battery life and bevy of features designed to pique gun owners’ interest. Nikon says the optic is ideal on virtually any platform due to its fully multi-coated lenses and the company’s proprietary “TruColor” coating. This combination eliminates the bluish tint found on some reflex sights and provides a natural view when shooting with both eyes open.

The 3 MOA red dot is user adjustable, offering 10 levels of brightness. The red dot is centered with a 27mm x 16mm sight window allowing for an extra-wide field of view. Nikon says the battery life on the reflex sight is 15,000 hours of continuous use.

The Spur uses a compact and lightweight aluminum alloy chassis that tips scales at just over 1-ounce. The sight’s construction is both waterproof and shockproof for durability purposes. The Spur includes a removable Picatinny rail or base in addition to a protective hood for covering the sight when stowed.

The P-Tactical Spur is available now through Nikon and Nikon dealers, priced at $219.
