Timney Triggers announced a new trigger for Remington 700 shooters, specifically those that prefer benchrest shooting.

The Timney Model 502B Benchrest is a single-stage trigger that ships standard with no safety or bolt stop. The pull weight and overtravel both boast adjustability, allowing shooters to truly customize the feel as well as the trigger function. Adjustments can be made by removing the trigger guard. However, shooters do not have to remove the barreled action from stock to tweak the trigger’s settings.

“For the discriminating benchrest shooter, demanding the utmost performance from their trigger, Timney has created a new trigger designed for the Remington 700 platform to be robust and yet delicate enough to be set with a pull weight as low as 3 to 6-ounces,” Timney said in a press release.

The self-contained trigger is drop-in ready with no gunsmithing or special fitting required.

The Model 502B will be available soon from Timney Trigger featuring a MSRP of $224.
