Tacstar launches Carbon Fiber AR-15 Handguards with Picatinny rail

Tacstar revealed its latest tactical accessory, introducing its Carbon Fiber AR-15 Handguards with integrated Picatinny rail.
Available in three different models — a 10-inch carbine length, 12-inch mid rifle length and 15-inch full rifle length — the Carbon Fiber AR-15 Handguards tout “unbeatable strength to weight ratio,” delivering durability with their carbon fiber design.
The free-floating octagon style handguards sport multiple cooling slots allowing them to remain cool, even under extensive firing. Equipped with M-LOK compatible mounting points, the handguards support an array of accessories such as slings, bipods, lights and vertical grips.

The Carbon Fiber Handguards attach to rifles though an aluminum sleeve that clamps over the AR-15’s barrel nut; therefore, no special tools or gunsmithing are required.

The handguards are available from Tacstar, a brand of Lyman, with prices starting at $174 and topping out at $224.
