ASP XT DF programmable tactical flashlight now shipping

Armament Systems and Procedures announces it XT DF Flashlight is on its way to consumers, offering 600 lumens of output in a programmable design.

Powered by an included 18650 rechargeable battery, the XT DF Flashlight features primary illumination of 600 lumens with a secondary, user-programmable light level of 15, 60 or 150 lumens or strobe. For users on the go without access to recharge the unit, the device can be run of two CR123A batteries as well.

ASP said the XT DF keeps to the company’s mission of offering “intuitive design and simplicity” via a single pressure switch on the tail cap, which activates the light. Users press once to activate the primary or maximum setting and twice to initiate the secondary mode. The light sports a three-position twist selector on the tail car for choice of intermittent, constant-on or locked modes.

The XT DF kit — which includes rechargeable 18650 battery, battery storage case, retractable charging cord, AC wall adapter, 12V car adapter, removable pocket clip and zippered ballistic storage/travel case — retails for $160.
